Description
My cousins rewarded me after I earned my 2nd bachelors degree (my first one is in fine art and this is in secondary art education) by taking me on a Caribbean cruise. We were on the cruise ship Allure of the Seas. Wow, what a ship. On deck 6 there is this beautiful carousel that I just had to paint. For my representation, I did not want all the distraction on the ship's Boardwalk so I changed the background setting to a country fair. This change also fits better with my title (bronc busting happens in the country not a dazzling city street). I have never outgrown my fascination with merry-go-rounds and I could not resist the lights and nighttime fun.
