This original oil painting is of the inside of an old flour mill in Franklin County, Virginia. This building has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior. It is a cool mill to visit and take a tour of.
I especially liked the way the light comes in through the windows. It invites you in to explore.
My image won the Superintendent's award at the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot Idaho, 2014.
